Madison Smith

President

I love AOII because of how much it surprised me. I never imagined joining a sisterhood could truly change my life. I never thought I could have the unconditional love of 50 girls I didn't even know in a matter of minutes. I never thought I could come out of my shell, or be able to walk up to a group of people I didn't know and talk confidently about Greek Life. I never thought I could have people to call at 2 am who would immediately come to my side if I needed them. I didn't just join a sorority. I joined a sisterhood. I joined a family. I found my soulmates and future bridesmaids. Going Greek was a leap of faith, but it's a decision I will never regret because it made me a better, stronger, more confident woman. It's forever, not just four years.

Lauren Reder

VP Administration

I was terribly shy in high school, so when I came to Wright State, I knew I wanted to break out of my shell and make new friends. So, even though I was a little nervous, I signed up for sorority recruitment. As the week progressed, I was amazed at how comfortable I felt with the women of Alpha Omicron Pi. Even though I had only talked with them for a short amount of time, it felt like I had known these girls my whole life; I never felt like I had to put on airs while I was around them, and I could tell that they loved me for who I was. I couldn't be happier to have found my home in Alpha Omicron Pi!

Sydney Rudloff

VP Communication

My older sister inspired me to join a sorority when I started at Wright State. I wanted to make friendships like the ones I saw her form when she joined Greek life at another college. Throughout the week of recruitment I could see that although AOII was filled with such a diverse group of girls they all really loved one another despite their differences. Now that I have been a member for over a year and a half I can still say the same. I love each sister of mine so much and I can't wait for the pledge classes to come.

I joined AOII because I was looking to get involved with something on campus to help me keep busy. I could really see myself in the chapter with all the girls and I am so beyond happy I joined because I found some of my best friends!
